Quality Engineer

Aim of FunctionEstablish, develop and maintain Quality standards in VBI with high focus on continuous improvement, quality data stratification coming from PR Audit, GOK, Quality Gates, Customer inspection and AM and feedback to Industry and upstream processes in structured and regular way.
Handling of Customer complains, leading external and internal CFT to eliminate the issues by providing RCA and driving for execution of actions. Interacting with end customers and Depot Managers during field visits and Audits. Coordinating necessary actions leading to eliminate the defects at customer end.
Product and processes knowledge sharing to whole organization, interaction with Lean@buses and other departments. Quality representation in Projects.
Quality processes definition, execution and improvement. Delivery Stop and Internal Campaigns coordination and execution. Problem solving tools implementation in VBI organization and system usage monitoring. Production processes audits performance and outcome maintenance.

Responsibilities
  1. Define, standardize, maintain and develop Quality Standards in VBI with high focus on continuous improvement leading to improved Quality Level of the product and processes.
  2. Interacting with final customers for delivery or field related issues. Initiating necessary actions to eliminate defects at customer side. Coordination of field activities to eliminate the defects, managing the team and costs. Executing necessary actions in the organization leading to issue elimination.
  3. Cooperation with Sales organization, After Service and QCS to increase customer satisfaction.
  4. Quality data stratification , analysis and conclusion coming from PR Audit, Final Inspection, Quality Gates, Customer inspection, AM, Warranty system and feedback to Industry and upstream processes in structured and regular way. Initiating and monitoring necessary actions.
  5. Handling and performing RCA for customer and process related complains. Initiating necessary actions within the organization preventing customer from quality issues.
  6. Product and processes knowledge sharing to whole organization, interaction with Technical Training School and other departments.
  7. Participation in Obeya Room related processes as per role and resp.
  8. Quality processes definition, execution and improvement.
  9. Delivery Stop and Internal Campaigns coordination and execution.
  10. Problem solving tools implementation in the organization.
  11. Production processes audits performance and action execution monitoring.
  12. Quality Department representation in Projects and setting the right prerequisites for Projects deliverables.
  13. Leading different CFT focused on quality improvement.
  14. Defining, preparing and maintaining different quality formats.
  15. Execution of Organization`s KPIs.
  16. Participate in field Audits.
Requirements
1. DME/DAM with min 5 years’ experience in automobile industry, in Quality function would be additional asset.
2. BE in Mech/Elec/Auto with min 5 years of experience.
3. Customer oriented approach focused on results.
4. Initiative to act.
5. Analytical thinking being able to draw the conclusions.
6. Knowing and practicing PSM tools.
7. Self-driven.
8. Effective knowledge sharing.
