We are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer-Machining to join our amazing team in Lexington, Tennessee.
What is the Job?
In this role, you will be responsible analyzing and evaluating manufacturing methods, labor content, work standards, tooling, equipment and machinery utilized in order to recommend and implement process changes needed to support efficient production activities. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent project and process management skills, as well as a basic understanding of all modern production processes and materials. In addition, excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary as is the need for fluency in speaking and writing English in order to communicate successfully with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
We are looking for someone that has both exceptional knowledge and experience with multiple CNC lathe, as well as vertical and horizontal machining centers. It also helps if you have a working knowledge of tooling fixtures and mathematical equations.
This position requires a higher level of education so we’re looking to bring aboard someone who has a 4-year degree in engineering or related field. We also require 1-3 years of experience in CNC programming experience, and as a MUST you need to be proficient in reading drawings, GD&T and layout procedures.
