Parts Distribution Manager

Job Summary:

The PARTS DISTRIBUTION MANAGER guides and motivates management team members, structures operations, and standardizes management practices among the various sectors in order to achieve the expected results.

Required Competencies:
  • Identify projects and work plans required to meet master plan objectives
  • Guide managers in his/her sector in order to strengthen ties and standardize management practices
  • Determine performance indicators and monitor the results of processes and projects under his/her authority; take necessary corrective measures
  • Evaluate performance of team members and work with them to draw up a development plan to optimize their efficiency
  • Target opportunities for improving processes to maximize efficiency; implement requirements
  • Inform organization and team about work plan progress, results, and risks as well as any adjustments required to meet internal and external customer needs
  • Participate in developing and validating master plan
  • Participate in committees or projects in order to facilitate circulation of information, achievement of results, and problem solving and prevention
  • Meet with customers, suppliers, or organizations on behalf of Prevost for business or social events

  • Develop and coordinate standardization projects for warehousing processes and practices for the parts distribution network
  • Advise and guide parts distribution network managers on management operations and use of the integrated management system (SAP)
  • Take part in the HR Forum as a regular member
  • Manage various projects related to business development

Minimum Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
  • 10 years' experience in the field of distribution, including 4 in managing a management team
  • Experience using a management system similar to Prevost Car's
  • Experience using an ERP system like SAP

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk and stands for period of time.
